My overall plan for the ‘97 Springer was to keep it mostly original as they were so hard to come by and sold for a market premium, which suggested to me they may be collectible someday. I thought Willie G hit a home run with the bike right out of the box.

I did tweak the bike with accessories that appear to look like they came standard. Fun side items that I accumulated include a rare one year only Heritage Springer leather jacket, a 1,000 piece Heritage Springer jigsaw puzzle, a 1997 Las Vegas Café menu featuring the bike on the cover, a Franklin Mint Heritage Springer pocket watch, and a Scott Jacobs “Spring Fever” print. Hallmark even jumped on the marketing bandwagon with Heritage Springer Christmas tree ornaments, greeting cards, and calendars. The ‘98 calendar matches the months/days of 2015!
