The weekend started out with a relatively short Ice Cream Ride to the West on the curvy mountain roads to a place near Rogers, Arkansas that boasts the world’s largest ice cream cones.
After the return to Eureka Springs and a little ice cream digestion, the group was served a BBQ dinner prepared by a professional BBQ competitor with a $10 donation to B.AC.A. During the dinner, several items were available in a silent auction that had been donated by various people.
The following morning, everyone met for a Poker Run and Bug Splat Bingo. There were 25 bikes, a dune buggy, and six other 4 wheeled vehicles on the 95 mile Poker Run through the twist and turns to the East of Eureka Springs.
Following the Poker Run, there was a Texas Hold’em Tournament at the Events Center and an evening of karaoke with more games played to raise money. In the end, approximately $1,800 was raised to be donated to B.A.C.A., and everyone had a lot of fun raising it.
Everyone there was planning to meet and do the same next Memorial Weekend.
