Our February 2016 cover bike is owned by Bill Hodson, and we enjoyed shooting his "El Bragas Gotero" 2015 Dakota Thunder Custom for this month’s cover. Bill is from Overland Park, Kansas, and we had the opportunity to gather additional information about him and El Bragas Gotero. We also had fun shooting cover model Ally on Bill’s bike for this month’s cover. I’m sure you’ll also enjoy this month’s behind the scenes photos and video!

CC: Bill, what is your occupation?
Bill: I’m in sales.

CC: Do you have hobbies other than motorcycling?
Bill: Yes. I also enjoy boating.

CC: Why do you ride?
Bill: To relax, escape, and to focus on one thing; the ride.

CC: How long have you been riding?
Bill: I’ve been riding about 30 years.

CC: What was your first bike?
Bill: My first bike was a 1968 Puch.

Bill: I’ve owned over 20 motorcycles.

CC: How many bikes do you currently own?
Bill: I’m down to just my custom chopper.

CC: What do you like most about El Bragas Gotero?
Bill: It rides great, despite it being rigid and 11’ long. It rides very comfortably.

CC: What is your dream bike?
Bill: My dream bike is bouncing around inside my head. Perhaps a Shovelhead with a leaf spring frontend and a jockey shift.

CC: What is your most memorable riding experience?
Bill: I took a 30 day motorcycle trip from Ft. Riley, Kansas to Florida and back after returning from being deployed.

CC: What is your least memorable riding experience?

Bill: John “Doughboy” Bozan, Johnny “Dumb Dumb Baby” Jacobs, and Mike La Flama Blanca” Shepard.

CC: Thanks for the interview Bill, and thank you for letting us shoot your bike for this month’s cover.
