Shaunta’ from Mission, Kansas is our May 2012 cover model. Many of our longtime readers may recognize Shaunta’ from her previous cover back in November 2010, and she’s also helped work our booth at numerous rallies and events in the KC and surrounding area. We’re excited to be shoot Shaunta’ on Danny Webb’s Street Glide for this month’s cover!

Shaunta’ owns KC Knockouts LLC, which is a modeling, promotions and talent agency. She also models for many other companies as well. Her ambitions include expanding her company and moving to New Orleans. She also hopes to start my own non-profit organization someday. Shaunta’s hobbies include fishing, four-wheeling, camping, floating, reading, music, riding, volleyball and organizing charity events.
When asked about turn-ons, Shaunta’ said “Quiet confidence, a great smile, drive, and ambition.” On the flipside, Shaunta’ told us her turn offs include “Disrespectful and negative people.” Shaunta’ also admitted that she’s a sucker for “Tattoos and Irish boys with cute dogs. Give me a guy with tats, ambition, quiet confidence, a guitar, and a sexy Irish Accent, and I’m in heaven. She describes her personality as “Outgoing, down to Earth, caring, and free-spirited.” Shaunta’ has also been told that her best attribute is her eyes and her smile.
When asked about the smartest thing she’s ever done, Shaunta’ told us “Getting out of my last relationship, taking some time to myself in solitude, and starting my own company. This enabled me to get my priorities straight, and to give myself a chance to shine with hard work and dedication. I’ve also realized change is a good thing, and I welcome obstacles as they come.” On the other hand, when asked about the most stupid thing she’s ever done, she told us “Wow, I have to pick just one? Humm...there was that one time that I.....well, we won’t get into that. Hee, Hee.”

Just for fun, we asked Shaunta’ to share some of her favorite things with our readers:

Do you have pets? Yes, I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Bella, a toy Shih Tzu named Lily, and a white deaf cat named Zeus.

Do you ride? Yes, whenever I get the chance.
Do you own your own bike? No, but some day.
What is your dream bike? I’m not sure what kind I want yet. I like them all. Can i have one of each please? Ha, Ha.

What is your most memorable riding experience? When I was a teenager, my Uncle Jim took me for a ride on his bike and it was my first bike ride ever. It was such a beautiful day, and we cruised the countryside at sunset. I fell in love with bikes after that. :).

What is your least memorable riding experience? I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience on a bike. It’s always a good time when there’s a bike involved.
Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself? It depends. Riding in a group is always a good time, but riding off with one other person can be good and relaxing as well.

Who are some of your closest riding buddies? I have so many riding buddies, but I love my friends with B.A.C.A., Ed’s Posse (March of Dimes), Gypsy Aces, Brother’s Word, and I gotta love my besties Joel Koger and Randy and Michelle Stroud.

Which motorcycle rallies & events have you attended, and which is your favorite? The Rattlesnake Rally for Autism and the Grand River Rally. I’ve attended the Grand River Rally the last three years, and this year will be my fourth year. As far as events goes, how long you got? That is what I do, so it would take me forever to say all events, but a few are the Nighttrain Toy Run, Toys for Tots, Ride against the Westboro Church, Rattlesnake Memorial Ride, Donnie B Memorial Ride, numerous breast cancer rides and events, Rock for the Cure (Two years in a row), Gail's 9-11 Memorial Ride, which we worked with the Army on, many other charity rides and events.
Which is your favorite bike night locations? Jobsite Bar in Olathe and Thirsty Ernie’s Bar In Raymore every Wed Night. I host both of them, and they are filled with cool amazing people and awesome staff. They are like a family, and always have the best babes and bands with good specials on booze. Party hardy; they do it right!

Tell us about your tattoos, and which is your favorite? I have four. I have a heart on my ankle, a rose on my side in the front on my panty line, a butterfly tribal on the small of my back, and a Celtic symbol meaning sisters on the back of my neck. My Fav is the butterfly on my back because it symbolizes the four stages of life, metamorphosis and change, rebirth etc. which matches my life so perfectly.
