Our February 2015 cover model is Summer May from Kansas City, Missouri. She is a personal trainer, and when asked about her ambitions, she said “I like to inspire people!” When it comes to hobbies, Summer May told us she enjoys modelling, playing and coaching volleyball, bonfires, and entertaining good company.

When asked about turn-ons, Summer May said “Shy guys, tattoos with meaning, Harleys, Horses, and WD-40!” On the flip-side, she said arrogance and bad attitudes are big turnoffs. She also admits that she’s a sucker for animals; small and large. Summer May describes her personality as “Fun and outgoing.” When asked what the smartest thing is she has ever done, she said “Realizing I was responsible for my own happiness.” Summer May also told us that she’s been told that the kind words that come out of her lips is her best attribute.

Just for fun, we asked Summer May to share some of her favorite things with our readers:

Favorite color: Red.

Favorite food: Anything spicy.

Favorite drink: (non-alcoholic): Herbal tea.

Favorite drink: (alcoholic): Honey Whiskey served neat.

Favorite actor: Johnny Depp.

Favorite actress: Angelina Jolie.

Favorite TV show: The Big Bang Theory.

Favorite band: It’s hard to pick, because it depends on my mood, and because I love a wide range of music. NO RAP! LOL.

Do you have pets: Yes, I have two small dogs.

Do you ride? Yes.

Do you own your own bike? Yes. I have 2007 Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster.

What do you like most about your Sportster? It is my first bike, and I picked it as a starter. It has pink flames on pearl white. The flames are in remembrance of my mother who did not survive breast cancer.

What is your dream bike? A 2014 Harley-Davidson Softtail Slim.

What is your most memorable riding experience? Riding in the mountains of Montana. Beauty and good company. It was a moment that will be remembered and never achieved again.

What is your least memorable riding experience? Riding in freezing temperatures with light rain.

Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself? I prefer riding with a partner, but I bought my bike to enjoy being solo. I love to just ride!

Who are some of your closest riding buddies? Dick Carlson. I would ride with him any day!

Tell us about your tattoos? I have three. The biggest one is on my lower back, which is a depiction of the story The Caterpillar, who thought its life was over when it became the Butterfly. My newest one is my barb wire heart on my bicep, which is completely wrapped around and guarding my heart's imprisonment.

Do you have a favorite tattoo artist? Yes, I love Irezumi. They have done great pieces on me; especially considering they were cover-ups, and fixing one that was done wrong the first time.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? I encourage any woman who doesn’t ride her own to get on it! Life is too short to not enjoy the peace and clarity that riding gives you. Life's journey is yours, so embrace it, and feel the power in riding your own!.Freedom!

Thank you Summer May, for doing such a great job on your Cycle Connections cover!
