Occupation: Electrican.

Hobbies, other than motorcycling? Boating, Fishing, computer work, and playing with two granddaughers.

Why Do you Ride? Relieve stress, and for pure enjoyment

How long have you been riding? Approximately 45 years.

What was your first bike? A Honda 350.

How many bikes have you owned? A dozen.

How many bikes do you currently own? A 1977 Sportster, a 1980 Shovelhead full dressed Electra Glide, a custom 2002 Harley (flame thrower) and a 1998 trike that my dad and I built.

What is the year, make, and Model of your current 'primary' bike? 2002 custom Harley (has a 1998 Fat Boy rear-end) painted flat black, white wall tires trimmed in red with white dice surrounded by red flames and a black eight ball with red flames.

What do you like most about your current 'primary' bike? That it is unique, there is no other exactly like it. And that it rides like a dream.

What is your dream bike? Why? My new custom bike is my dream bike, because it rides and looks great.

What is your most memorable riding experience? Riding the Black Hills in South Dakota.

What is your least memorable riding experience? The year my bike wasn't running right and I broke down in South Dakota.

Which motorcycles rallies & events have you attended and which is your favorite? From 1995 thru 2004, I attended the Sturgis Rallies. The 2000 Rally year was the favorite because we had a 'biker wedding' UNTIL the year of 2004 which now has become my favorite year because I got my new custom bike.

Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself? Why? I love riding with a group, and even by myself! (if I have to), but I have even loaned my Sportster to my best friend Les - to have someone ride with me.

Who are some of your closest riding buddies? Gary Smith, Les See, my Dad, Gene Bud, and even my stepson Shannon Howerton.

Just for fun, which of your riding buddies is the best rider? My stepson, Shannon Howerton. He does wheelies and burnouts.

Just for fun, which of your riding buddies is the worst rider? Again, it would be my stepson. He really scares me.

Other facts or topics of interests you would like to share with your fellow riders: My new Custom 2002 bike was built by my camping neighbor of the last three years of the Sturgis Rally - Bud Beireis. He is from Shakapee, Minnesota, and he knows how to build bikes inside and out.
