CC: What is the year, make, and model of your current bike?
Haven: It’s a 1976 Harley-Davidson FXE.

CC: What do you like most about your current bike?

Haven: A ten-second street Harley to shut up the Jap bike riders.

Haven: I go to the flat track motorcycle races in Sedalia, Springfield and Topeka. I also enjoy the Sturgis Rally and go to the yearly Harley drags at KCI. I won the A/Altered class at the 1975 All Bike Drag Nationals, and have attended many other events over the years.

CC: Which is your favorite bike night location?
Haven: O'Quigley’s. It’s a chance to get together with my friends and see different style bikes.

CC: Do you prefer riding in a group or by yourself?
Haven: By myself or a very small group.

CC: Who are some of your closest riding buddies?
Haven: My step-son, John Payne, Craig Cook, Greg McDermott, John Frala, Jim Green and John Osowski.

CC: Just for fun, which of your riding buddies is the best rider?
Haven: I better not answer because I might piss someone off.
